We believe that big hill is Volcano Prieto

In the morning, Lori Z. shot some aerial drone video of the campsite and surrounding area:

I then took a short ride on Yagi, my TW200, to check out a secluded beach area nearby. It didn't turn as great as I'd hoped, more gravel than sand and it was low tide so I couldn't even try out the water.
I did find some curious items on the beach as I walked around:

Here's a short video of Uma as she made her way out of the beach area...
A few more miles down the road we turned onto Highway 1 from Highway 5 at the Chalapa Laguna junction. We stopped at the Nuevo Chalapa restaurant but a motorcycle tour group was there and the joint was swamped with customers. It was, a small place, to be fair.
Around 415PM I motored back to the Nuevo Chalapa restaurant and put in a take away dinner order. It came to 450 Pesos for more than enough food for the three of us: Tacos, Enchilada, Quesadilla....yum.

Along the way, we tried to get lunch at "Papa Hernandez" located in a campground just off of Highway 5 on the north end of Bahia Gonzaga but alas, it was closed!
Next, we tried the market at the Rancho Grande Campground in Bahia Gonzaga, only to find it closed for "medical reasons". Not sure what that was about.
We decided to eat a tuna fish sandwich for lunch while parked in their parking lot while Chris Z. broke out the Starlink Internet access so we could google our next options.
Once we got back on the road, we decided on a short pit stop at New Coco's Place. It's apparently a favorite stopping point for folks traveling through this area. We had a beer and rested for a bit. (30 pesos a beer).
I don't know the story behind the toilets....
Less than five miles down Highway 5, we found the iOverlander listed site for one night of camping. There was only one point in the access trail that could have been bad for Uma, but Chris Z. ground guided me around the problem.
Soon we were set up in the mid-70s heat of the sunny afternoon:
We even had us a pretty nice sunset:

Really nice sunrise and sunset photos!
You’re right, beautiful sunrise. And poor little triggerfish you found at your “beach”.
I love the colors in the first three photos! Was that sunrise or sunset?
RichardM, thank you.
Thanks Oz, the first 4 were at sunrise.....
Lori, That's not my beach, still looking for a better one.
