A decent color show prior to the sun's rising:
I believe we were on the road by 8:30 AM or so. We returned to Highway 5 and turned the rigs south towards Puertecito.
We did do a brief stop as we approached Puertecito for the view:
After one slight detour in search for what appeared to be a shuttered/abandoned "market", we found the trail off Highway 5 and onto a beach area.
This site is listed on iOverlander, the app we've been using almost exclusive to do planning and deciding.
It was a bit overcast when we arrived but we had the place to ourselves. After a bit of exploration, we decided to camp in the low lands, not the hill tops overlooking the water. Stewie, the Z's overlander rig could get up these just fine, Uma not so much.
Soon, we settled into our respective spots and set up camp. Lori then went to enjoy some beach time:

Nice location! Near the water and no one around…
More sights, more sounds, more rocks for cairns…. ;)
Indeed RichardM, though the access trail was a bit rough...Uma has been on worse however.
BlazeOurWay....good choice picking this spot
