After a couple of cold and windy days, it was time to ride to nearby hills which looked interesting; and for which we wanted to establish positive identification.
Lori Z., riding their TW200 and yours truly on Yagi, my TW200 rode out close to 10:30 AM and headed for Trail 241 off of AZ Hwy 286. The dirt trails weren't bad in terms of rocks and ruts but we kept the speed down to no more than 20 MPH.
It was about ten miles from the highway and we were on Batamote Road. We found the offshoot trail shown on Google Maps and we got a bit closer to the base of the rocky hills.
Shortly though, we encountered some pretty rocky/rutted washes. Lori Z. decided to at this point. She'd wait for me there, shoot some aerial drone video and I would see how close I could get.
I didn't much much issue with the obstacles, which were a bit technical, and finally got to a fence line.

I saw the video title on YouTube and thought it was an old video frame m when you were back home in Colorado.
Nice job on the drone video. Looks like you are getting the hang of it. The rock formations are really cool.
RichardM, quite coincidental wouldn't you say....
Thanks Oz, Lori is definitely getting better at flying the drone for sure! The Cerro Colorado rock formations are definitely very cool and stand out in this area.
