Lee and Lyn's "kids" came by for lunch and to visit a while with them and I. I got to meet Kevin, Jennifer's fiancée, and rekindled my relationship with her and her brother Christopher. I've not seen either in years!

Saturday evening, we spent it watching the Olympics and the movie "12 Strong", I liked the movie though some of the action was a bit unrealistic of course. Still, not a bad way to spend the evening.

Christopher left for his home soon after breakfast and Jennifer would follow along shortly after Noon. I went for a ride on Yagi, my TW200 dual sport while Lee and Lyn got a nap.
The destination was the Riverside Preserve, a small park with access to the Rappahannock River. Although at first I had the place to myself, it would soon be hosting many families and their cars. Still, not bad in terms of crowding.
The river was quite calm and shallow at this preserve.....was able to wade into the water for some of the above shots.
Here's a final shot of the parking area assigned to Uma, the VRRV, with the recent "visitors" who will be accompanying me in my future travels:
Did you spot my future companions?
Yep, two flamingoes, courtesy of Lee and Lyn.

The pink flamingoes remind me of someone who was very much into the specific colour... Happy continued trails, Dom.
Ah yes, Bobscoot....
