Reposting: Sunday Sunset...and I'm still here.

Well, apparently one hazard of trying to edit one's blog using the EasyBlog app is accidentally deleting a post that was published while editing it!  Dammit.

Sigh.

OK, so bottom line up front: The Ultrasound Scan of my bladder today showed no kidney stone so the doctor thinks it has been passed out of me.  No pain involved with that particular exit so I'm happy.

Lesson learned: Hydrate!

Another lesson learned, avoid EasyBlog for more than correcting typos on published blog postings.

Here's the pics that went with the posting I accidentally deleted.

Hi Dom,

I really like the colors in the sunset pictures. I have learned to paint those sky colors, but I need to work on the clouds. Adding the Ural may take years to learn. lol

Glad to hear that the kidney stone didn't give you any more bother. I have heard that the passing can be very painful at times.

Drinking cilantro tea helps breakup and prevent kidney stones along with tumeric curcumin. From previous passing 2 stones myself.

Ugh! I have not had kidney stones, and don’t think I want to. Has to be the worst just waiting, but nice that the pain hasn’t returned.

Thanks Bridget, Richard’s rig is available for you to practice! :)

Thanks SonjaM, the pain when it clogged the tube leading to bladder was bad enough, I’m glad this time no pain as it exited....at least I hope it exited.

Rideon Deco: thanks for the tips!

BeemerGirl: it’s been along ten days, thanks

I don’t even want to think about kidney stones. But it is always in the back of my mind when riding in hot weather.

Hydration will definitely have a higher priority for me now RichardM

Update for all: ultrasound showed no kidney stone in bladder so the doctor is assuming it was passed!

Update, managed to delete the original posting while trying to add the update to the posting....

I’ve pretty much given up on the apps. There used to be a really good one but they stopped updating the app. They said the Google keeps changing the API. Now, I just use mobile Safari or Chrome.

Sounds like you dodged the bullet... er stone. Your good fortune.

Rode Top of the Rockies today, never expected the massive rush hour traffic jam going north to Aspen. Coming from the south would have been easier. The only rain all day was between Taos and Angel Fire. Now to rest for a few days.

Thanks CCjon, dodged a bullet is right!

Traffic on the major highways through Colorado seem very crowded these days, no matter what day.....the I-25 corridor is basically a slowly moving parking lot.
