It started off quite promising, the sun descending into a large cloud formation with some cool red/orange lighting conditions underneath it.
Trouble is, the large cloud that blocked the sun, descended to the horizon, effectively blocking any further appearance by the sun.
There was some offset lighting to the south, which was profiling a distant view of Pikes Peak. Out came the zoom lens to put things into perspective.
As you can see, light conditions were a bit low, you can even see
the light from the nearby lamp post backlighting the tires.
