A Redleg's Rides : Yet Another Colorado Sunset

I started off today's Sunset pictures session without much hope for good colors as the initial beginning was less than promising.

About sixteen minutes before sunset.

I switched to the telephoto lens and backed up as far as I could (there was a building in the way) and the sunset colors got much better.

Bluekat...you can start seeing noise at iso-3200 on the Sony. It'll go to iso-16000 but noisy!; 24 January, 2015 07:34

RichardM, sunset mode tends to overlay or perhaps oversaturate reds and orange colors....makes weak/wan sunsets much more fiery.; 24 January, 2015 15:50
