Scarlett and I returned to the usual sunset viewing spot instead of the one recently used near Buckly AFB.
Shortly after 4PM, the clouds promised a nice backdrop for today's sunset
The "Brown Cloud" that Denver is known for when they get
a temperature inversion.
The following sequence of shots are chronological, hopefully showing you the sunset colors as they deepened with the setting sun.

What pretty skies. I love the detail in some of the early ones, and the great colors as the sun goes down. The inversion looks terrible. We get that here too. Kinda hate thinking about breathing it in.
Thanks Bluekat, Kari, not too shabby a sunset from where I was shooting pics...some others caught some better colors elsewhere in the state. Funny thing about the inversion/brown cloud...when you're in it, you don't see it.
Nice sunset photos!
thank you RichardM...
Lovely, Dom. The weather inversion might not be very healthy for those breathing it but it sure makes for a great and colourful picture.
Thanks SonjaM, don't know how unhealthy it might be, doesn't look good does it?
