Lunchtime Views of Mount Evans

Scarlett and I went for a short ride during lunch today, the skies were quite clear and the views of Mount Evans (though slightly hazy) still made for great background material for the photos below.

The east coast is recovering from the record snow falls from the weekend, here the light snow that fell overnight is almost all gone.  :(

There is however, 3-5 inches predicted for Sunday evening, so here's hoping!

Nice, clear roads. You're going to wear out your new K37s riding on them. Time for summer tires? ;-)

The K37 tires last longer than the Duro 308 tires which are "street tires".

Beautiful scene :) . But you may not wish a hard snow fall when it actually comes. It's more than 5 inches right here and I can't ride my KTM at the moment. Hope it will away in a few weeks.

Thank you Gary McKernan, 5 inches won't stop me from riding.... :)

Ten inches, which is what is forecasted to fall by Tuesday morning, might be a different story, we'll see.

Sometimes when I look at these images I can't help but think of the old Marlboro ads. You've replaced the horse with the URAL. It's probably the majestic snow capped peaks under a blue sky that does it. Regardless, nice stuff.

It's been gray and boring here...

Thanks Steve, though, shall I look for a white cowboy hat to wear? ;)

Mt. Evens is a great subject for photos. Your third photo is awesome. The countryside and the mountain.

Thanks Thomas Osburn, glad you liked them. If only I didn't have to ride over an hour to get to Mount Evans....
