Anyways, the reason Darrell texted me was to tell me he'd seen my 2011 Patrol, Valencia, sitting pretty in the dealer's lot. She was next to Yoshie, my 2006 Suzuki DL1000 V-Strom/Dauntless Sidecar rig, though neither sported a price tag yet.
I asked Darrell for pictures and this is what he sent along:

This post finishes what this previous post started in terms of reporting status on Valencia's condition. She's got a rebuilt engine, all her other components should be fine. I am sure she'll be a fun machine for whomever eventually buys her. I think Randy, of Unique Rides, is planning on separating Yoshie from the Dauntless Sidecar and selling them as separate units if she doesn't sell easily.
I went for a ride today on Brigitta, my '87 R80 BMW Airhead, an 80 mile loop through Parker, Wolfenberger Road to CO105, North to Sedalia and then US85 to County Line Road which took me home. Sorry, but didn't see a single instance for picture taking, the sun was bright and harsh, washing out what little color there was around here.
Typical Colorado winter day, snow overnight leading to snow-covered lawns but not much sticking to the roads, which is why I was able to ride this afternoon on dry roads.

I had looked at the Unique Rides website earlier in the week but didn't see either of them listed in their "used" section. I had thought about the sidecar but Jay said that he wouldn't want to put anything that heavy on my airhead and thought that if I wanted a larger sidecar, I should look for something like an R1150GS tug first.

RichardM, interesting that Jay said that, the dauntless sidecar is quite light. Anyhoo, your Cozy is working out fine.

Well, that makes it official, doesn't it? They are gone, and you don't have to worry about them anymore. I am sure they will be given in good hands.
Now I guess we are all curious about the new one...

I think that Jay, as well as many others, don't realize how heave the Cozy really is. All steel construction it is about 200 lbs which is, according the the specs, about 50% heavier than the M72.
SonjaM, hopefully the new one will alleviate everyone's curiosity soon...
Canajun, yeah the orange paint really popped against snow didn't it? I feel confident red with white trim will do fine though....as to whether there will still be snow around when I get her.....not sure.
Looking forward to a "walk around" Tour of your new rig when you get it. "Hubert" (U-Bear) of "The Timeless Ride" fame was quite impressed with the new Urals....he was in fact pulling a subtle "wheelie" with one when he rode it. He said the torque increase was amazing on the new rigs.
