Merry Christmas

It's Christmas Eve's Eve, Martha and I, along with our sons wish you all a very Merry Christmas Holiday to you and yours.

This is the card we sent out via snailmail, and by we I mean Martha
of course, she's the traditionalist in the family.

Speaking of traditions, last year it fell to Valencia to bring the Christmas Tree home from the local big box store:

Christmas Tree, 2012

This year, this duty fell to Stewie, Martha's Genuine Buddy Scooter:

Christmas Tree, 2013

Yep, it's the Christmas Tree from "A Charlie Brown Christmas"

As you spend time with your family and loved ones, we ask that you keep in your prayers the men and women of our armed forces, as they stand their post, most away from home and some in harms way.

Please keep in mind too, the first responders, on duty and standing watch....ready to serve their communities.

We haven't done Holiday cards in ages… it's a shame coming to think of everybody in our family is completely wired, and all Seasons greetings have been sent out electronically…

Love the Charlie Brown X-Mas Tree!!! It's a true lookalike.

Best wishes from Germany

Hi Sonja, yeah it's been quite some time since I personally shopped for Christmas cards....

Wishing you and Roland a great Christmas!

I like the Christmas tree. It looks just like the one in the story. Did it really ride home on the scooter or was the picture staged?

Merry Christmas to you and your family!

Hi RichardM, you caught me, the picture was staged. I am not about to go riding Stewie in the snow, and damage it in case of a drop. I already broke Martha's X5, I'd really be in the doghouse if I broke the scooter as well!

Before you even mentioned it, I was thinking "Charlie Brown" Christmas

We haven't put up a tree for 20 years but we have one in a box somewhere. We stopped with the cards too but that doesn't mean we don't cherish our friends

Merry Christmas to you and Martha

Bob, I know Christmas is not something you welcome much but here's hoping the holidays treat you and Yvonne and your family well...

Like so many projects and goals this year Christmas cards fell to the side... Maybe next year will be different.

Glad that you shared your family's card with us. I can look through family photo albums and see entire lives sweep by in pictures. Bittersweet to see our kids grow up so fast.

Best wishes to you for a Merry Christmas and great holiday!

Merry Christmas!

Great reminder on remembering the first responders. It's not just shepherds that keep watch on Christmas Night.

Merry Christmas to you and yours as well, Keith.

Nice tree Dom, greetings from sun and I with my folks in the Missouri Ozark Mountains.
Appreciate your sharing this past year, and wish you a wonderful three wheel new year!

Hi Glenn, thanks, hope you and Sun had a great Christmas Day and that this coming year is a great one for both you two and Stormin' Norman!
