Published in Sidecar-Traveller Magazine

A German publication, it's focus is sidecarists and their rigs worldwide.

I'd been asked before by them for use of my pics, am happy to report that they've once again liked one of my pictures enough to use in edition #48:

I'm sure there's a name for this placement, it's what you see
when you turn the front cover of the magazine.

On a less happy front, the trail I'm on has been extended past the estimated 8 days and will now probably go to 10 days before it's handed off to the jury for deliberation!

Sigh.

They like your photos! And the red really stands out from the background. Do they send you a copy of the issue?

And it sounds like you are enjoying jury duty...

Thanks RichardM and yes they sent me an issue. As to jury duty, it is sometimes interesting but lately just a lot of waiting while the lawyers dither and continue to beat a dead horse. I will be glad when it is over.

Congratulations on having your photo published. A great layout for a great photo. You definitely have the right color rig for that landscape. Looks great.

Jury duty is one of the few duties civilians have to do aside from paying taxes. You would think they would give veterans a pass so more of us civilians have a chance to do our duty.

Eight days. Ten days. At least you're not in a federal trail that lasts a year...

Thanks Steve, duty is duty but this past week’s experiences have me agreeing with you and having Veterans given a pass on jury duty.

Congratulations. You have a great ability to frame and capture photos. I have only sat on one jury and after opening statements we were dismissed for the day. When we arrived the next day the case had been settled out of court. Sorry this case is taking so much of your time.

Thanks Oz. I didn’t mind the planned 8 day trial too much but running over due to “scheduling conflicts “ smacks of incompetence.

Congrats on having your photo published! You have gorgeous photos - well deserved! That is a really long trial. Most of ours are 1-day (mostly duii) and maybe a few days at most. I've only ever done single day trials.

Thanks Bluekat, this trial is for murder in first degree, and “scheduling problems “ have led to going over initial plan of 8 days....sure hope my fellow jurors aren’t unsure when it’s our turn to deliberate things!

Congrats, Dom, and well deserved. I hope your jury duty can/will end soon.

Danke SonjaM, I hope we’re done by Friday of this week!

Great photo they selected, of course as many of your photos are worthy of being in a magazine.

Later you have to tell us all the details about the trial.

Thanks CCJon, still digesting my experiences from the trial....heck of an experience and an eye opening one in regards to our justice system....I don’t know if I’ll blog about it though. But next time we meet, sure!
