OBR 16: Uraling to the Old Bike Ride #16

This past Sunday, I rode Fiona, my '99 Bural with the '84 Beemer engine to Golden, CO to take pictures of the motorcycles gathered there.

It's been a while since I'd attended one of these events, hosted by the Norton Colorado motorcycle club and organized by Bob Ohman.

A lot of British motorcycles of course, since the event was hosted by Norton Colorado.

So, please enjoy some of the motorcycles I found interesting or aesthetically pleasing:

The one Vincent that I saw....very nice

 This year's ride captain's motorcycle.
Jamara Edition

I liked the flowing lines of this Beemer's exhaust pipes

 Toaster Tank on this Beemer

I like the yellow color on this Ducati

 And back to the Vincent...

 Matchless

A Norton which didn't "mark its spot"

 Brook Reams' RS

 Todd Wallis' Benelli

I liked the tail light on this motorcycle

Although I was positioned well to take pictures of the motorcycles and riders as they began the ascent up Lookout Mountain, I messed up the camera settings.  So no pics of the above actually moving.

I didn't qualify, in terms of motorcycle age or rider age for that matter for the group ride; and I've never actually ridden the whole ride.  I just show up for pictures and to sometimes chat with the riders.

It's nice to see "old iron" being ridden, instead of gathering dust in garages and sheds.

Nice photos! Especially the Vincent.

Beautiful, Dom. Those bikes seem in pristine condition. People seem to put a lot of labour in it.
