Test Ride and a Colorado Sunset

It was another hot and sunny August day here in the great state of Colorado, and the motivation to ride in the boring heat was lacking within me.

I'd done the tire swapping work yesterday morning but chose to ride later to test the viability of my efforts.

Evening arrived and with it cooler temperatures, more suitable to ATGATT riding.

I rode out with two purposes in mind, well, maybe three:

-Ride (if only for a short while)

-See if any of the wheels fell off or lost air from my typically ham-fisted efforts at tire swapping.  (All went well)

-Capture the Sunset, this time, shooting in 16:9 mode vice the default 3:2 mode of the Sony A5000 camera.  I like it, the 16:9 mode.

I am happy to report, mission accomplished on all three.

72 pictures taken, distilled and processed into these four:

 Sunset Mode

All nice photo but the favorite is the first "sunset mode". Wonderful colors, especially with the lights on.

Thanks RichardM, they turned out pretty good, even the discards would have normally made it into a posting.

Like Richard I like them all, but my favorite is the second. Love how the light highlights the Ural.

Thanks Trobairitz, easy when Nature does all the work.

Rather magnificent sunset with lots of color, light and texture. The only problem I had with the photos was that thing that was in the middle of the picture.....

Nice stuff!

Mr Williams.....sigh, someday you shall join me her on the tractor side of motorcycling....someday. :)

The top two pics are gorgeous, though I'd have difficulty choosing which I like more: The backlight silhouettes the Ural well, and that bar of sunlight on the higher cloud is very cool. Great shots.
