In fact, this video inspired me to try out the video capabilities of my new camera, the Sony A5000.
I hope you enjoy the results below. Thanks Steve, for the inspiration.
Update: Replaced youtube link with the one to the 1080p version. Enjoy.

Nice. Are those gravel roads you're on, or is that just sand spread on the snow/ice?
Great video and a lot of work to set up and fetch the camera, I love the editing to make the transitions seamless. Good job! Am I inspired? ...maybe.
Canajun, they're packed dirt roads.
Troubadour, thanks....I hope I got your creative juices flowing.
A lot of running around to get all of the drive by shots. Is there a timer on the camera to do time controlled start and stops? Or just a lot of editing?
RichardM, lots of editing....there's a remote control on the camera using wifi and one's smartphone but editing is safer....
Nice video. You set up some beautiful shots. Reading your response to RichardM I remembered I have a wireless controller for my camera that bobskoot turned me onto. I use it for self-portraits but didn't think of it for video.
I think the real challenge around videos is to make something interesting and meaningful. After a few videos of our respective machines riding down the road then what? I think it means we have to talk. And that means we have to have something to say. And that means work. Not sure about you but I ride and write and make pictures for FUN. Not work.
So I"m not sure where I'll head with the videos. It's one thing to write text for someone to read but an entirely different cup of tea becoming a narrator...
That's scary.

Thanks Steve...and yeah, I agree, there's only so many views of one's motorcycle riding down the road that folks can stand....
As to speaking within the video, my voice is not meant for the masses....just saying.
I do like the format used by a Bloomberg reported recently when she did a piece on URAL: http://www.bloomberg.com/news/videos/2015-02-26/cold-war-bike-by-ural-sparks-sidecar-revival
Like you, there's more thinking to be done on this subject.
The Bloomberg video is very well done. For a few moments I was imagining what it would be like to have a URAL.
Far beyond what I would want to attempt but the idea of telling a story is there. I will have to figure out an easy way to simulate something similar...
Great video! Will add a lot to your posts.
Looking at that video, there are elements that would take a one person production team weeks of full time work to achieve, if one had the tools, the knowledge, and the expertise.
I think it is possible, over time, to produce some effective, pleasant video for specific purposes, like bike and equipment reviews, for instance. One hurdle is narration. No voice, that's an issue. Copyright friendly music, that's another challenge.
AZ HD, thanks...we'll see how it goes with more video.
David Masse. Narration...and me with a voice that grates on one's soul....thanks for the kind words.
