Lunch Ride with Yoshie

Just a short post, had a lunch ride with Yoshie, my 2006 Suzuki V-Strom/Dauntless Sidecar Rig.  It was her day for her weekly "exercise" and the weather was nice and sunny if a bit cool.

We had a small amount of snow overnight, nothing to speak of really, the roads were nice and clear.

Colorado Tourism should sponsor your blog. Wonderful photos. I was curious if you ever took that rig out.

BTW, thank you for the recommendations. I ended up ordering the balaclava and the Fog City insert from Amazon. The visor fogging up has been a long standing problem.

Hi Richard, you're most welcome, I hope what you ordered do the trick! I've used the Fog City insert and results were mixed.

The thing that's worked best is my snowmobile helmet with dedicated breath mask that vents to the sides. If it's cold enough, ice builds up at the vents...cool stuff. Second best is the ColdAvenger.

Thanks also for your kind words, I should pitch the idea of sponsorship to them....

RichardM, one more thing re the fogcity insert....it scratches REALLY EASILY....take care when cleaning it. I tended to just run water on it, use my fingers to gently wipe...any cloth, even microfiber, tended to scratch it. So I blotted the excess water off it.

That's how I usually clean my visor, under running water. They used to sell similar products up here all the time to stick onto your car windows. This was thirty years ago when defrosters and heaters weren't what they are now.
