The weather was great, it was in the mid-60s as we left before 9:00 AM in order to have a leisurely ride on the slabs to the direct opposite side of the Denver Metro Area where Boulder is located.
We got to Boulder with no incident and found a good shady spot to park Valencia. Plenty of time for us to then doff our riding gear and into our "wedding clothes":
Helmets removed for the pictures, but still wearing our riding gear.
Now in our "Sunday Best"
Martha, my better half
The wedding ceremony was to take place at the Sunrise Amphitheater about halfway up Flagstaff Mountain. It kind of reminded me of an ancient Greek amphitheater, I am sure it was with such examples in mind that they created this one.
Sunrise Amphitheater on Flagstaff Mountain
I am happy to report, no one tripped on the gravelly steps.
A string quartet provided live music before and during the ceremony.
Nice job, Ladies!
What?! No pictures of the bride and groom? I am sad to report neither myself or Martha were in a good position during the ceremony or during the reception afterwards to get a good picture of the bride and groom. Once we get a copy of the ones shot by the "pros" hired for the event, I'll add it to this posting.
In the meantime, here's a picture of the happy couple
Congratulations! Caitlin and Eric!

Murph.
You guys look smashing in your Sunday's best. Pretty cool, to join the wedding party on Valencia.
that amphitheater looks like a nice venue for any kind of celebration. I can imagine it was memorable, especially for the groom and bride.
That's pretty cool travelling to the wedding on the Ural.
The amphitheater looks like a great location for a wedding.
Looking sharp in your wedding gear :)
I love this, uraling to a wedding. What a fabulous spot for a wedding.
Congrats to the Bride and Groom!!
Great post. Love the transformation from one set of gear to the other. Dom, I couldn't help but wonder: Are you one of the men in black?

Murph, thanks...you'll have to check out your amphitheater next time you're in CONUS to visit your mum.
SonjaM, thanks to you too....it was a very nice ceremony.
RichardM, yep good location, but is it really that unusual to take a sidecar to a wedding?
Bluekat, the cool breeze that hit us towards the end of the ceremony was perfect ending by Mother Nature, it was a bit warm under the sun even though temperatures were in the low 80s.
Circle Blue, MIB? Sure...now look into this flashy thingie...
Love the transformation from riding gear to Sunday best! Fun to take Valencia along.
Thanks for the kind words Beemergirl
