12/12/12 12:12

As the last instance of consecutive date numerals that this author will see in his lifetime, I give you a picture of my Ural Patrol on the occurrence of 12/12/12 12:12 PM.

Though there's still some snow/ice in the neighborhood streets, the main streets are clear and dry.  Temperature during the ride to the high school sign was a balmy 50°F!  I was almost overheating in my riding gear.

That was a cool idea to capture the time and date on film.

Nice picture! I wish I had been thinking enough to do something similar.

Ah yes, but did he just continue down that drive and bring his supportive wife lunch?

At noon today, I had the same thought but was on I-5 just north of Portland and really didn't feel like pulling over. More lack of planning on my part...

I was in a meeting and missed the opportunity. Great idea.
And the chance to see a similar occurrence happen, will be very slim for any of your followers...

Next occurrence will be in 89 years. I will host the "blogger's get together", I may even spring for the airfare to Vancouver and accommodations, unless you want to do it.

I had to go to a meeting but I did manage to snap a few photos around 12/12/12 12:12p doing my favourite activity.

Thomas, thanks for the comment.

Erik, I almost didn't go out to do it....

RichardM....well, if you had just come up to a sign with the date and time....that would rate a stop but otherwise....nah

SonjaM....meeting during lunch? You must be in IT!

Bobskoot...if I am still riding 89 years from now, I'll be there!
