Our Latest "Blizzard"

At least for us here in the Metro Denver area, it was a pretty weak blizzard to say the least.

This classic Calvin and Hobbes cartoon strip sums it up for me perfectly.

Nice expression you have there in the last photo. Obviously something must be broken (again)!

Nothing's broken, just working on services....

Does BFH mean what I think it means? (I am thinking along the lines of tools, not the other meaning...).

You can have our snow - I'm sick of it! Love the last photo, BFH and all.

I am sure your first guess was correct, SonjaM, a Big F'ing Hammer.....

Canajun, thanks, it's amazing how many service/repair tasks on a Ural involve a BFH!

Calvin and Hobbes has to be one of the best comics of all time. Somehow it just seems fitting to go with your blog. Hope that is the end of snow for you.

And I think a BFH could solve a lot of issues around the house, not just with bike maintenance. Think other projects too.

BFH for a house....that'd be a sledge hammer?

As to end of snow, we should be getting one more storm before Mother's day ... hopefully more than that before.

note: Dom is the ONLY person from Colorado not involved in the winter sport industry who wishes for more snow ( and that is only because it slows other drivers down to his rigs' cruising speed )

Diamond Dave, sadly, when it snows, it doesn't seem to slow down most of the cars....it's that 4WD you know....it overcomes the laws of physics.
