A Glorious Colorado Winter Sunset

Sunsetwx.com nailed it this evening, forecasting a good sunset potential for us here in the Colorado Front Range area.

Winter seems to be winding down early for us while the northeast part of the country on the other hand is expecting a major snow storm!

Lots of clouds up high to reflect the setting sun and no low lying clouds hovering just above the peaks of the Front Range mountains to block the sun.

When I saw the word "glorious" in the post title I said to myself, "Yeah, right." I stand correct. Those photos depict a rather glorious sky and sunset.

Bravo.

Thank you Steve, that Bravo means a lot, coming from your discerning eye. I can only imagine what you would have done with such a sunset.

Added short video of the sunset, forgot about it last night.

What Steve said, Dom. It can't get any better than this.

Danke SonjaM! We had another good sunset yesterday, to be published soon perhaps.

Pretty - so many colors. You don't see that near here unless you are at the coast and the fog doesn't roll in.

Always enjoy seeing your sunset pics.
