I was in the Denver Tech Center dropping off tax paperwork and took the opportunity to get a shot of Mount Evans through the arched gateway to Westlands Park:
I rode to catch the sunset and while waiting for the colors to be in full bloom, was UDF'ed by a rider who had stopped to check in on me; since he saw me parked on the side of the road.
He turned out to be an Air Force Chaplain and we talked about motorcycles, the military, PTSD and such for a bit. He rides a Yamaha VStar, 1300cc cruiser, all black and sleek looking.
Kevin, the chaplain, finally had to go and the light was just right on the peaks to the northwest of my location.

How does it feel to have the new one again? Is it noticeably quieter?
The red/white goes really well with the sunset...
This past weekend, she was noticeably quieter. Today, I thought I heard a new noise...but then it went away. I think perhaps I'm imagining things. Engine pulls well, idles smooth, though I am seeing about a 20 degree difference in jug temperatures. Left side being the hotter one, something to watch I guess...usually it's only ten degrees difference.
Trouble really is: Fiona's engine pulls so much better and smoother....it makes Scarlett's new engine seem slightly weak.
Great photos as always, Dom, and from what it sounds like, another great exchange with a concerned and curious passerby.
