Mariko, the '87 Suzuki Samurai 4x4 is still in the shop, this time awaiting the replacement of the factory mechanical fuel pump with an electrical pump to hopefully remedy the ongoing fuel delivery issues.
More on the delays in the next posting I hope.
It snowed a little bit on the Colorado Front Range, the mountains to the west as usual got a lot more.
We got perhaps an inch of the powdery version of the white stuff so I thought I'd kill some time this morning with a ride on Scarlett, my 2014 Ural Patrol.
I rode out to the East Ponderosa area SE of my home neighborhoods, posing Scarlett in the usual spots with views of the fourteener named Mount Evans directly west of the metro area.

The mountain views are marvellous, Dom, and the air seems clearer than usual.
All our snow has meanwhile turned to rain leaving muddy trails and high water levels behind.
I love the photos of the front range you put up. The Rockies are magnificent.
Thanks SonjaM, fortunately it was not a lot of snow here, and the sun coming out helped dry things up.
They sure are, Oz, thank you.
I love to see the snow covered peaks in the background. Very quiet and calming
Thanks CCjon, the snow covered peaks are definitely nice to gaze at....the solitude they infer and convey calms me down sometimes.
Beautiful. Everything looks so fresh. The mountains are gorgeous with all the snow
I like the mountains with snow on them best, thanks for the feedback Bluekat.
