The purpose is to give a glimpse into the sights Valencia and I saw, for folks who aren't blog readers per se.
It gave me, however, a renewed sense of the wonderful sights I saw while traveling....minus the frustrations of mechanical breakdowns. :)
You'll have to pause the movie near the end, where I go into some lengthy verbiage....but otherwise, it's just pictures!

We enjoyed watching the movie. Bridget commented that some people have so much free time! ;-)
Mag-nif-i-cent: adjective. 1. Impressively beautiful, elaborate, extravagant, striking: a dramatic landscape of magnificent mountains. 2. Very good; excellent....the dictionary says it all......
Wow, Dom...what a treasure! Thanks for sharing. Hope you leave these up where we can see it often as we prepare to head North to Alaska......GlennandSun.
Dom,
What a wonderful pictorial recap of your trip.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words and yet, I'm sure these incredibly beautiful pictures do not even begin to express the magnitude of what you experienced being there in person.
Thanks for sharing these amazing highlights with us and luring us all to one day visit this magnificent state for ourselves.
RichardM....thanks, unemployment will provide that....I am working on being semi-retired instead.
GlennandSun, thanks! When are you guys going to go to AK?
Andy and Laura, thanks for your kind words as well. See you soon.
Too much time on your hands says Bridget? We probably shouldn't show her my scrapbooks then.
Thank you for putting this together, I know several of your inlaws will appreciate the picture only version of your adventure. See? I come by my "I only look at your blog for the pictures" trait through my genetic make up.
Magnificent. Thank you so much for sharing. Something I can only dream of doing.
A true adventure that you will recall for many years. I enjoyed the show and of course following your blog.
The Andes next?
Cliff
farrider245, Cliff, I like the way you think!
You put a lot of effort in this movie. Awesome recap. It's one of those memories lasting a lifetime. Thanks so much for sharing this with us.
Nice ride Dom. Next time let me know, I will tag along. Carson
i enjoyed your movie of your Alaska adventure, i gawk, slack jawed at so many of your pictures as I will not likely ride those roads; so i appreciate the pics. I'm new to following you and listen intently to your URAL comments. I 'dream' of getting a URAL gear up/patrol (which ever its called these dayz) to ride around my farm and the Vermont back roads that surround me...keep your stories coming xo
Ell, thanks very much for the kind words....glad you enjoyed the movie.
WOW.... Some great pics and bringing back memories of 30 years ago when I did the ride from SW Florida to Anchorage on my R75/5...
Russ, thanks and glad it brought back memories....hopefully good ones.
