Baja California with the Z's - Day 16: Views around Playa La Gringa

Gloriously sunny but eventually windy day.  Still, very nice weather with temperatures in the low 70s!

Today's sunrise was pretty good:

The early morning light lit up the mountains nicely with some great reflections in the still waters of the bay.

A view towards the town of BLA

Mid-morning, I went for a walk to the end of Punta La Gringa (La Gringa Point) to check things out.   Here's some of the views one can see from the point:

Can you spot the rigs?

On the way back, I checked out the other side of the wetlands where there's another small bay.

After relaxing most of the afternoon under warm sun and winds, I decided to go for a ride with Yagi, my TW200, to see if I could find the iOverlander site we'd been planning on before.

I managed to find the road eventually and it's good that I did because the site is quite nice!

Love the reflection pics. Nice header material (hint, hint).

Thanks SonjaM....if I owned that sailboat, perhaps it'd be a header shot. :)

Love the pictures seems like life little easier in Baja. The boat sure looks inviting in the bay

Thanks for the feedback CCjon, it's a nice playa but a bit crowded by my unreasonable standards.

It sure does Spat, I will admit thinking about life on a sailboat....
