Fall Colors in the Denver Metro Area

I believe this is the latest I've seen Fall Colors grace the trees in the Denver Metro Area.  I wonder what it means in terms of a snowy winter?

The road leading into Chatfield Reservoir Park from the South

I like the way the sun backlights the golden leaves....

Had to go to the data center today for some work, the trees beside
the facility were a bit past their peak in terms of colors but still nice.

Trees at the elementary school near our home.

Gorgeous riding weather, sunny and warm with temperatures in the high 70s and low 80s.  Little to no wind and my network change went well!

Update: 19OCT14

Per RichardM's request, some pics of red Fall colors....not as brilliant red as the stuff on the East Coast but it'll do.  Oh, and throwing in a bonus pic of Brigitta at the Westlands Park in the Denver Tech Center, earlier this year.

A very much "tweaked" photo of the view near my house

Beautiful colors! Though, some reds would sure be nice…

Network change?

We do have some reds, but not a lot and none that I saw today were lit well by the sun. As to the change, our single switch at this COLO was EOL so I moved all network connections to a redundant pair of new Cisco 4948s.

The leaves make a brilliant contrast to the sharp blue skies. Our fall colours are still a few weeks away from this but I'll keep my eyes open, and hope to catch some of it while riding.

Gorgeous colors!!

Ours are just now starting to change. Finally seeing a red maple or two, but not en masse colors.

SonjaM: Interesting that Fall Colors haven't started in Germany yet....I look forward to your pics of those colors.

Trobairitz, thanks I hope you and Troubadour will provide us with pictures once the Fall Colors arrive en masse!

Beautiful color! Ours are still kind of dull. I'm not sure they ever get this brilliant though.

Bluekat, it all depends on how the sunlight is hitting the trees....they can look quite dull from one angle, brilliant from the opposite angle....

Fall certainly is grand. I think if I lived in Florida I'd miss the seasonal fashion shows.

Nice pics Dom.
